In just a few short weeks, the biopic we’ve been dying for, Coco Before Chanel, is finally being released in the U.S. I can’t wait to take a look into the early life of the fashion icon.

OMG, did anyone watch the Daytime Emmys this weekend? Young and the Restless star Stacy Haiduk walked the red carpet with one of the prop stuffed cats from the show as her purse!

At first glance it looked like she’d brought her pet (way to go props department, very realistic!), but then I noticed how — uh, stiff it looked.

Mario Testino shot Gaga wearing Marc Jacobs, styled by Nicola Formichetti. Gaga’s covers comes in two versions: one in which she wears electrostatic blue Marc Jacobs glasses and another in which she wears a pink pair of shades. “When the Marc Jacobs pink hooded coat and glasses came down the runway, I knew there was only one person I wanted to see in it: Lady Gaga,” editor-in-chief Stephen Gan explains. “Growing up as a kid obsessed with new wave, I would cut up paper sunglasses and put them onto celebs’ faces on magazine covers. These plastic peel-on and peel-off glasses come in pink and blue and are actually based on the Marc Jacobs ones that came down the runway!” So got that, kids? You can actually peel off Gaga’s sunglasses and stick them on your own face. Former MTV veejay John Norris interviewed Gaga for the story inside the issue. She also posed for an editorial, which you can see a preview of right now!

Brody Jenner and his Playboy Playmate girlfriend, Jayden, were in tow celebrating his birthday when the pair witnessed perpetual troublemaker Joe Francis unrelentingly hitting on a girl they know. Jayde, who felt that the girl was being harassed, threw a drink on the Girls Gone Wild douche and Francis physically retaliated. The felon reportedly then punched Jayde in the face, threw her to the ground and began to punch the Playmate leaving her noticeable injured. Security broke up the fight as Brody became enraged and started yelling at Francis until both men were escorted outside. On the outskirts of the club, Jenner tried to get back in to tend to his girlfriend, but security would not allow it. And as Brody spotted Joe outside, he immediately punched him in the face while another patron tased him, taking him to the ground. Francis disappeared after the incident, but he is wanted for questioning as Jayde intends to press charges. The battery left her with a black and blue cheek, a swollen face, bruised left rib, sore lower abdomen and missing hair. Soon after, Brody Tweeted about the incident stating, “Joe Francis needs to be in jail!!!” He continued, “How can you call yourself a man when you beat up a girl?? Joe Francis is a piece of [expletive],” then added, “Joe Francis beat up my lady this morning for no reason! Pulled her to the ground, punched & kicked her..what does that say about him?”

Normally tourists and citizens would be cheering when a new hotel opens. The Standard Hotel in New York City overlooks High Line Park – a new “rails to trails” greenway in the Meatpacking District. The room comes with great views of the park in an upcoming neighborhood in downtown Manhattan. Sounds great, right?
The hotel is becoming a source of conflict for park-goers. While guests may enjoy their floor to ceiling windows, standard in every guest room, park-goers are provided with, well let’s say, more view than they were expecting. Since opening, people at the park have been provided with views of guests having sex, filming porn, guests toweling off and dressing, and guests pleasuring themselves.

The hotel management states that “the hotel will make a concerted effort to remind all guests of the transparency of the guest room windows.” However, the hotel has also stated that in the past they have encouraged guests to pose in front of the windows, to create a buzz and attention drawn to the hotel. And when reporters checked into the hotel, they weren’t given any reminder of the transparency of the windows.
So for now, you might want to avoid glancing into the glass windows during the evening and overnight hours, and hope for the best during daytime visits to the park!

Is $24,000 too much to pay for a haircut? The obvious answer is yes! But not when you are the Sultan of Brunei. The 61-year-old, who is said to be worth an estimated $24 billion, paid exactly that to have his hairstylist Ken Modestou cut his hair. The British barber has been cutting the Sultan’s hair for the past 16 years, and while he charges his regular clients about $60 per cut, it looks like the Sultan kicks him a little more change. (The $24,000 fee includes a luxury flight on a Singapore airline to the Sultan’s home in the Middle East, sumptuous hotel accommodations for a few nights and several thousand dollars as the actual fee of the haircut.) Not a bad gig if you can get it, right?
